Super slow morning with only 1 sandbass and a couple short bites. Had to make my way to work. Just before landing around 8:55 I hooked up 50 yards from shore. This fish wanted to get back under the dock bad. 8# line, it made several runs before coming up. Stoked to weigh my first 3 pounder from the yak. I tried hard to get one last summer andI did catch a 3 pounder from shore right out front, maybe the same fish  Pretty cool sight watching it slowly swim off in the clear water. 
Saw this Osprey eating his breakfast.  |
