The best way to learn the pond is to try it you might have better luck than others have had there.

I fished it a bunch when I was stationed the about a year anda half ago... fished it hard every lunch break for over a month... tons of bullgill.. Heard rumors of bass but I and not the greatest fresh water guy... but did manage a small cat bout 10 inches... tried baits, and walked the whole thing a few times with jerkbait, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, plastics and anything else I could think of... never seen anything besides the cat that I caught and 1 other small one and bluegill caught... it was a while back, and I sint the greatest freshwater guy though.... just my input

There are bass there but they are probably getting ready for trout stock. If you really wanted to fish it, take some live bait or trout looking swim baits.
