The largemouth was caught at Otay (note the Fenwick rod and Ambassador reel) in 1974 and weighed 10 lbs. 8 oz. I coasted into the shore directly over its nest and caught it on the first cast with a Tom Manns Blackberry plastic worm. Enjoy your youth because deterioration starts at 30.
The spottie was 4lbs. 2 oz.

Large Black sea bass on 12 lb test and an anchovie... Released... see pic and small black sea bass caught by my wife... she sure can fish.

This fish showed 12.2 on the scale,but it was over 13,scale was wrong.I've been catching these pesky little critter for 40 years,I know.28 inches long and it's head was a little over 5 inches wide.It's all about the girth.it's a breadbox. I sent pictures and measurements to O'Hare and the 11.9 mold they had did not do this fish justice.
