ffice:smarttags" name="place"> I had a big time jig Jones gnawing at me for days, so I made a bunch of lures and made plans to hit El Cap. I figured that was as good a place as any to work jigs all day. Noticed it had rained in Lakeside the night before, which I thought kinda sucked, but I marched on still lit with high hopes. Launched in the dark and bolted at grey light. Only 1 other boat on the lake so far. Drove until I stopped, and started slingin baby Jetty Worms at the rocks. Soon I got a hard bite and connected. Fish in the tank! After a while I got a few more bites but, they weren’t home. Turns out that was gonna be it for the day. Fished jigs until 2pm sharp. My last bite was around 8am. Bait tank pump burned out too. I hate fishing, and can’t wait to do it again. Lake is full, water is clear, surface temp 65 degrees.
Great looking bass, your composition needs a little help, you dont want the viewers eyes to be bouncing from fish to flower to apple to lure to orange.Thats what they told me in junior college art class.J/K do you always go fishing with a bouquet of flowers?
Didn't they teach you anything in that class? You start at the fish then you follow the other objects/subjects around in a circle. The circle surrounds the jig, which was the focus of the entire day. It's all deep and symbolic and stuff......
