Unemployment Day 2 Report...
Slept in.
While I made breakfast, the wife told me she's going to try to pick up some extra shifts at the hospital to help offset the loss of my income (I'm a VERY lucky man).
Laid on the couch most of the day watching TV.
Made some plans to fish with people in the upcoming days.
Went in and cleaned out my office and picked up my last check (which ended up being almost double what I expected).
Got a handful of emails from people with job offers (including one that I REALLY want and hope to interview for later this week).
Cracked a bottle of wine at 4 PM and made dinner.
Unemployment really aint all that bad...

Chris, I had a standing invite out to Kevin.
If he doesn't go, you're welcome to come along...
I'll know tomorrow.
If not, I'll take you next week for sure.

Remember...The solution to any problem -- work, love, money, whatever -- is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be."

Its been a tough year all around. Sorry to hear the bad news. We are looking at another 30 day shutdown. Sucks but better than a layoff I guess.

I'm in - but Ceez can sit in my lap.

Why don't we just take my boat since it sounds like the trolling motor will not be needed.
