On the water around 6:30ish to breezy conditions that would finally lay down when we called it a night. :?
Fishing wasn't WFO but nice n' steady.
Nicer 18 inch'ish grade of plaid bass. (photos do it no justice, but the boys were definitely impressed for an 'inside' fish)
Totals for the night were pretty good.
ZUMAN - 8 bass including 2 nicer grade of sandies
timmeh - 7 or 8 mixed species of bass
crabkracker - 15 bass and a 'deadly one' (aka sculpin)
Odog - quite a few along with some bigger fish lost. Lot of gruntin' and moanin', all night long. :lol:
Me - 13 bass and 1 sculpin. Lost 2 BIG fish that towed me into the rocks and broke off my 17 # test. :?
I also have a friendly one on one competition with Crabkracker. Early yesterday AM he won the round with this 15 lb, 34 inch lingasaurus
I won round 2 with this 20 inch fat plaid bass.
Landed on 8 lb test thick in the kelp. I ended up snapping my 14 year old Daiwa stick on the next fish. Fitting way to say good bye to the old friend. Now I'm in the market for TWO Cumaras.
