New Mayor of Rosarito

FYI Snr. Hguo Torres the mayor of Rosarito is a very honorable man. I've know him casually for over 10 years and he has always been honest and truthful with me. I'm a bit worried about his safety, but he is a scrapper and he seriously wants to improve conditons here in baja. Good luck Snr. Torres; I hope that he remains unharmed and is successful. I wish him well, so that we all can return to the safe fishing enviroment here in Baja.

I watched an interview with Snr. Torres on the news a couple of days ago. He was honest and frank about what is happening and how they plan to make changes to make it stop. It was refreshing to watch a politician speak with such candor. I was very impressed. I believe that you have good reason to worry about his safety. My prayers will be with him.

I would like to take my boys (8 & 10 years old now) to Mexico someday so they could enjoy what I did as a kid. Right now I wouldn't take the chance.
