A place to stay in San Felipe?

A couple friends and I are planning a trip to San Felipe the second weekend in Nov. (F,S,S)
Any suggestions on places to stay near town? I have been on Sanfelipe.net found a few, Just wanted some outside input before booking. Looking to spend around 120$-160$ per day, poss more for a house.

Thanks,
Dustin

IVE BEEN GOING TO SAN FELIPE SINCE THE 50's. EL CORTEZ IS GREAT & IT HAD A LAUNCH RAMP YEARS AGO. TODAY IT MAY NO LONGER HAVE ONE. RUEBEN'S PLACE, AT THE OTHER END OF TOWN, HAS/HAD A LAUNCH SERVICE WHERE THEY WOULD LAUNCH YOU WITH A TALL WWII G.I. TRUCK RIGHT INTO THE WATER FROM THE BEACH - NO RAMP BUT A GREAT LAUNCH SERVICE. OR YOU CAN LAUNCH SOUTH OF TOWN WHERE THE SHRIMP FLEET DOCKS.

I think we are going to try and rent a panga, how much do they typically run per day?, do they let you do self guided? Thanks for all the info guys.
