Baja Travel Law: Just a rumor until one...

of you savy internet guy's researches this...

My good friend whom resides in Baja Sur informed me last night that Trump has made enough fuss (paid enough dough) and that now there is a NO TICKET ZONE from the BORDER to the FIRST TOLL BOOTH.

How much of a hurry can you possibly be in to rush your vacation to the point of putting yourself in harms way??? I still think it's asking for trouble doing this short leg of the journey durring dark hours nor do I like to do the San Quintin to Guerro Negro at night. Leave at 8AM and get to Guerro right at dusk or so. Stay in Guerro for the night and then continue just have a good pair of shades if your heading East, the Sunrise is brutal.

The Sonora Only (no permit has allowed people to travel within the state of Sonora with no tourist permits for around 9 years now- I would guess that it is finally getting to Baja now.

A permit? We don't need no stinking permits.

Just a thought, how many 20-30? (est) million illegals pay their traffic tickets?

How do you pay a ticket down there anyway? Mail it in?

Re: Baja Travel Law: Just a rumor until one...

My point being, along that stretch of road which one takes to the first Toll Booth one does and should not pull over under any circumstances. Two of the three robberies in the last month have happend on this stretch and the attackers have used unmarked police vehichles or have impersonated cops.

I will not drive that stretch at night any sooner than I'd drive through Compton or Shell Town at night. IMO it's like painting a big TARGET on yourself and terribly ignorant if you ask me...

that thar is exactly what I intend to do.

I have several other tricks up my sleeve, which I will not post in public. Hope I never have to use them.
