Hola BDers~ kind of late with this report, been driving the Baja.
Been awhile....... just got back last Thursday. Found out while I was gone that My mooring line snappped during one of the hardest blows
here on Isla San Marcos, winds over 60 knots ravaged our shoreline.
Some damage was done to the boat, lost the transducer and one rail.
Nothing that can't be fixxed.
So since I've been back, weather has been nice. No wind to speak of
for the last three days. Air temps are balmy cool in the mornings,
dipping to 50 degrees and day nice in the high 70s and dry. Water
temps. only from what I've heard and how it feels when Ihad to dive in
to fix My mooring...... 68-70 degrees.
Word has it since I've been gone....... spotty and no consistence
bites. And no surprise today with My son. See........ I FOR THE LOVE
OF GOD!! have to drive back up to the states TOMORRROW again to sign
some papers. So had to get one day in with the kid. Back to the non
consistence bites...... Jim (Mooosea) had 4 fish on Saturday some on
the SURFACE too "first report and catch for the new up coming season"
and after cating bait, sat out there all morning for one bite one
fish.......... least the kid got it.
My absence? ...... I'll be back mid week and get
some kind of report out. Weather has been a bear this fall season, wind
and toooooo warm on the water temps. Makeing for less day fishing and more days sitting around. Hope it changes and starts raining more up here in So Cal. Cheers~ and Happy Holidays to all from Isla San Marcos
Kid with the only bite and fish for the morning's effort. Better than a stick in the eye I Guess.

Where most of the bait ended up....... usually I put them in a reciver, to use another day, but leaving the next day so the Pelicans scored
