gunz Death_To_ With only three weeks before we go down to Mag Bay I have a fresh report
Water is 71-82 Fishing For Wahoo at the Ridge Has gone off!  Reports were inside thetis to outside. The Tuna are still small with reports near the Petrel of a few larger models. Still dorado seem to remaim everywhere around as well as The Marlin are all over with a few blues near Pinacle Rock. Try the high spots for grouper.
A report from my friend Harvey Tucker who Just returned from Lopez said Dorado and Smaller Yellow Fin Tuna are with in a few miles of the Bocha.

ill be there the week of the 9th for about 6 days, camping and fishing but havent decided if were going north or south of the boca yet, depends on the reports, love to hook up with anyone down there at that time

Thanks for the report!
I will be at Puerto Lopez Mateos from October 25th till around November 13th or so. I will either be with my 18' Gregor or boatless due to current engine issues. If I am boatless I will be renting a boat...or if anyone needs another body on a boat to help with finances, cleaning and killing then I am available also. I am leaving in less than a week for La Bocana before heading down to Mag Bay.

I have been fishing the banks outside Boca de Soledad for the past couple of months and will continue through November. I tow my boat over from Loreto. If anybody needs help navigating the estero or negotiating the boca, let me know and I will get you in touch with Ruben Duran. He is the primo panguero in Puerto Lopez Mateo and knows the entire area, inside and out, like the back of his hand.
