I just re-newed my annual Baja insurance. This year Lewis and Lewis was the least expensive. $365/ year for a $50k truck with legal package.

I use Discover Baja. They are friendly and prompt. They are current on the card, gas and hotel situation. Well worth the extra $ for a frequesnt traveler. I get truck and trailer insurance for the year.

I'm still with them. It's worth it just to get info, insurance, tourist cards, etc. The service is always good. This might be my last year - we are permanent residents now. We only go across the border once or twice a year. I think I need a discover California club to get cheap short-term insurance for the US.

I just resigned with Lewis and Lewis (after calling the others) for the full coverage/legal etc for a 4x4
~ 20,000$ vehicle. They were cheaper by about 60$.

I used Discover Baja for my recent trip down to Gonzaga Bay. I thought the price for insurance was reasonable and you can do the whole thing online - including printing out the policy forms - so its very convenient. Customer service was also nice/helpful. I bought a one week policy - if you want coverage for the whole year I think you have to become a member.
I've also used Vagabundos in the past but they aren't as high tech - takes more time.
