I have never been asked for any paper work, license or boat permit while yaking, I would expect the federales to target power boats instead. Stopped buying yak permits a year ago.

Yeah, thats what I figured.. Thanks Art.. When you headin down to Abreojos again? I'm doing a Punta Eugenia/Bocana trip in August.. figure I'll Yak Chester rocks for a couple of days then hit tha banks off Bocana..!!

I'd like to fish San Francusquito. I may head down via panga from Bola.

Also, each fish town like OJOS, has a Pesca officer. He checks limits and licenses, 100 pesos is what he's looking for.
