Black Marlin on the East Cape
This 400 lb. Black Marlin fell hard for a Zucker 5.5 Bleeding Dorado colored lure. It took about 40 minutes to land on 80 lb. test. Bruce Periano of Stockton, Ca. fishing on the boat " Senor Don" based out of Buena Vista, BCS. landed this nice marlin about 4:30 p.m. today 9/28/05. He helped the skipper, Javier Cota, celabrate his 42th birthday in a big way! This is a pic of "the boys" and the fish on the beach at Spa Buena Vista. All these guys are fishermen and they love it!
