Just got back from 3-28 to 4-1 in Cabo for my anniversary with my wife, got to go out on a panga by myself on 3-31 great day. Left before sunrise to 2 mi off the light house & spanked some little yellowfin 8-12 lbs in an hour & 1/2 total 10 fish. All troll quad & triple, double & single no bait fish as the baits were huge. Finished up coming in off the beach for snapper, got to play with 2 on the surface but did not boat any. Saw somebody waving at us a ways off, I thought they were on the pick as I could see a line out in front & they were just outsde the breakers we get over ther & lucky for them it is the skipper in the water swimming keeping them from getting sucked into the surf & beached. Bummer was it was a mom & 2 daughters on the boat & the idiot skipper had ran out of gas. We ended up pulling them out a ways & got some gas off another boat & even gave the ladies 1 of the yellowfin as they did not have anything but a wet dumb skipper. I hope he gave them there money back. Though the fish were small I was stoked to see jumping fish & put some on the boat. Mondo was the skipper & he had a nice 20 ft billfisher with a new 80 hp 4-stroke yammi. Had a great time & am stoked that my wife told me to go out & fish on our anniversary for the morning.
