Fish/cruise to Mag Bay or Cedros

I am considering taking my 30' Skipjack to Magdelena Bay or Turtle Bay/ Cedros Island.
I consider my current boat to be a tweener. It's certainly on the small side to make the trip by water, but it's way too large to trailer.
I have trailered a boat to Mag 10 times and am very comfortable in the area. I have made the trip on a yacht 5 times and have fished the area a bunch on long range boats.
I expect to do most of my traveling at 8 knots to conserve fuel. I have twin Yanmar 315's and run at 8 or 22 knots for my best efficiency. I carry 300 gallons.
I am thinking about doing the trip in June, or October.
I am checking to see if anyone is interested in buddy boating.

I just matde the trip ypu are thinking about the first of the month. The boat was a 31' Cabo express with 350 gl. More than enough fuel for the trip with good weather. Our buddy boat was a 33' Radovich that IMHO is three times the boat as a Cabo submarine.

Contact me by P-Mail I am sure there is intrest in going again next year.

October would be a much better month for cruising and fishing in our area. June can be very very windy, cold water and sure not much fish action that time of year but October is awesome, calm, nice warm water and tuna everywhere!!

I have also done Mag Bay and the Baja from San Diego to San Felipe. The trip to Cedros
is great trip with fuel and accommodations available on Cedros or Turtle Bay. I would like to go to Cedros soon if you'd like to go. PM me.
