Soft-Sided vs. Hard Coolers

Can anyone confirm that American Airlines will accept frozen fish in a soft-sided cooler and does not require that it be a hard plastic cooler? We hope to return from Cabo after Thanksgiving with some fish.

Thanks in advance.

I havent seen any soft coolers in 30+ trips. PLUS the soft ones wont hold the cold as well. OK for LA, not for TX flight. IMHO - I recommend a 38 quart hard cooler. $20 at walmart. They are 8lbs allowing 42lbs of fish. My bigger coolers hold more fish, but are 12 lbs. the 38 qt holds 42lbs perfectly. Remember griceldas processing at the docks -100yds right of baja cantina onthe marina.
