YFT/Las Arenas

TUNA BUST LOOSE FULL TURBO/Breaking fish report FLASH!

Not the official weekly fishing report, but we just couldn’t hold back. The tuna have broken loose finally for our Las Arenas Fleet! Football sized tuna charged the baits and swarmed just about anything in the water foaming on live sardines, lures, feathers and everything but the burrito lunches! Fish are 10-25 pounders and hungry. But on top of it, in the boiling fish, dorado also charged in as pangas went to double and even triple hook-ups! This is the best tuna bite of the season and something we’ve waited months for! Lots of fish released as anglers bent rods! More in our regular weekly report!

Best fishes!
Jonathan and Jill

Gotta go!

Just talked with Mike down there, and he said the same thing - the "88's" going off!
I'm ready to jump on the next Volaris flight down...
Anyone else?

Actually, fish went off on both sides...Las Arenas and La Paz today. Fish foaming in numerous places. Ocean came alive. Dorado came charging as well. I spent 3 hours vacuum packing over 100 bags of fish.

Hey Jonathan !!! Did the La Concha Hotel fish-packer-man make you wear a military uniform and surgical gloves when you were bagging those fish??

Alan

Cheers! We'll be coming down and seeing you again soon...

Hey Alan!

Hahahah..Juan Ramon is good people. I packed all that fish on our own vacuum sealing machines then took them over to the hotel and yes...Juan Ramon folds those bags like a marine recruit trying to impress his drill sargeant at inspection. He does a good job. Better than just balling up big frozen globs of dorado that won't fit in the cooler!

Cheers!
