I have spent a good amount of time on the decks of commercial fishing boats, as has much of my family for centuries. On the east coast the key was realizing that the needs of regular commercial guys and us sport fishermen paralleled. We banded together and got the mid-water trawlers out of coastal waters. This summer there was too much bait in the water to catch anything!
