Lorenzo, I've heard about this, but never really trusted it. Is it gringo safe or are we asking for extra exposure? Do we need to go to the office and grease a palm and get a business card?

thanks

Art

The "good cops" support the SOS Sindicatura organization and what it is all about. As a matter of fact, I had the opportunity to meet Secretary of Public Security (Hefe of all Baja municiple cops) Lic. Cesar Santiesteban G. last month here in San Quintin. I asked him directly about SOS Sindicatura as I showed him the sticker on my truck. He knew of their efforts and applauds the movement! The last thing a "bad cop" wants to do is write you out a ticket or be challenged about the mordida he is attempting to get. I think they see the sticker and go look for another victim. I have SOS Sindicatura stickers on everything, including my airplane. Ya, the even try to screw you over at some of the airports!

P.S. Don't be "Chicken Shit" and use a copy of the sticker shown above. I understand that there was some asshole in the East Cape starting some sort of crap like that on ebay and SOS SINDICATURA took legal action against him. Anyway, I'm sure you wouldn't and the $25.00 bucks they charge is well worth it.
