| K&M Offshore, nutha so-hemi comin
This last week was pretty much windy, we did get out a couple days (1st & 2nd) did well on Reds,Lings and some bass, ive got some pics so ill post em maņana. We did get some fun surf last thurs-fri of march and again this last thurs 3rd. We camped out at the point and even though the wind was howling it was really shaping the waves up as the south swell comes straight into the wind funneling out of the bay. Lots of fun waves with a couple HH to OH sets. Water is freakin COLD! low to mid 50s! We have a group of guys comin for the next south this coming weekend and its supposed to be nice, we,ll probably do some fishing as well.
General: Isla San Martin had calicos up in the kelp but Capt. Oscar said they were lock-jawed but it was fun watching.A couple boats tried for the flatties out in front of Hasslers cove with no luck. Shallow water rock fish was good west of Isla lighthouse in 80-90ft on plastic. Bens rock has small to med lings some goats and lots of groundfish in the surrounding waters out to 200 ft. Yellows were seen breezing between the 15 and 240 again. 240 is always good (fish outside the box)
the 15 has been real good for big reds and its close to the point
but fish are deep 300-350! The 210 to Down south has been quiet with no one going south for a while, gillnetters continue to get WSB no huge numbers.
