Yea that "Ultimate fishing reel" sounds alot like BS to me when Accutares are the "Ultimate fishing reel" with unlimited drag, twin drag technology and all the reel gurus say so.............................How was my Notorius S. U. A. impression.... pretty good huh!

unfortunately, that ultimate fishing reel{accurate} is out of 75%of anglers price range.they're overpricing themseves right out of the fishing reel market.

Its the same price as the penn 80vsw and a heck of a lot less than the accurate.. Its competitive in the market price wise.. When you get into that level of gear you gotta pay to play... Not trying to say anything is better in this case... So I don't need any nasty PM's from any party defending their respective favorite reel brand..

To all the haters I have one in my hands now and took it apart. Simple functional design and extremely powerful. Handle looks different now as that one pictured was the first batch. It now has a rubber grip/ball bearing handle and the arm is about an inch longer than the 80vsw and shimano 80 tiagra. I use all three and put the Avet ahead of them in terms of cranking power, drag, and cranking smoothness. Shimano has the edge in looks. 80vsw has the edge in plastic shift mechanism crackings. Say what you say, think what you think, but being that it costs less than the competition and can probably catch just the same amount.. or even more.. of fish, this reel is hard to beat.
