avet reel questions

i am getting a 2 speed avet and want to know what is best for 50 lb yoyo in baja. replies appreciated

the avet "hoo x" narrow. load it up with 80lb spectra topped off with 50 or 60 lb xxx izor.

Yep, or a standard HX with 130lb. A good cast (in case you use it for that too) with 50lb and you can get deep into the top part of that spool. I'm just thinking about versatility for other fishing.

Hoo X either narrow or standard will do the job, and has the ability to handle bigger fish easily.

Ditto the hoo-x. I prefer the standard width.
