| Avet JX Owners...re: Get Strapped
Tony Chargois, owner of Get Strapped, is making me up two of them for my recently purchased Avet JX two speeds.
The items work perfectly and are a great substitute for harness lug. If you're fighting a big yellowfin or big yellowtail, they are just the ticket to use with your harness.

Had one for awhile, problem was it got in the way when trying to cast. Tried on it slx40hv, star 15/30-20/40 and a few others, same result always got in the way when thumbing the spool. Finally gave it to a friend and he had the same problem.
Guess it might work if you had a six inch thumb? |

Coffe makes a bracket that works as well (for stated purpose) and also aids in casting and does'nt get in the way.

My girlfriend weighs all of 105 lbs and a 20 lb yellow drags her tiny little but all around the boat. On a trip to Cedros or Alijos she would more than likely loose a rod and reel to a big fish. This way she can use a harness and kneepads against the rail with her purpley Avet JX 6/3 and her arm strength would not come into play as much as it would without the bracket. But does Coffee have a picture of the bracket? I sure am interested in seeing it. Charkbait does not have the G S Bracket in stock to fit an LX or JX.

Wow, what a great idea. Imagine how much that might help someone with a disability?

I have several friends that have lost an arm or are unable to use thier arm due to a stroke or a brain tumor (My friend George Is on trip #72 and his left arm is weak at this time and if he catches only 1 fish it would make his trip) a brother born with no left hand from the wrist. If this will help them in their quest to return or better enjoy the sport that they love so much then I will do everything in my power to help them. As for Dii (girlriend), she is just starting out and she beleives this is the most comfortable way for her to get into fishing and as her confidance grows in her talents as a fisherwoman Im sure the G S Bracket will find a place in the tackle box or the back of the garage. There are many reasons for the bracket and harness as you now see. So I hope your intectual input on the subject helps others looking to improve their lives.
