Hoo X Availability

This is my first post here. I am hoping to get a possible inkling of when the new Hoo X will be shipping. I passed on the great deals on the 4/02 at the Hall show in hopes of getting a Hoo X prior to the six day that I am going on in May, on the Independence. I ordered one right after the show from my local dealer. Unfortunately he can not give me a firm shipping date, though he is pretty sure they will ship in time. There are still a few 4/02's around but they are going pretty fast. I would hate to go on the trip without one of the two. I know I know I am asking for the answer to one of the best kept secrets in the industry.

Get one or two while you can.

Re: Hoo X Availability

I know I was expecting them last year :-( As they where discontinuing the 4/02's and had a prototype at the show I expected them to be shipping right away. I might still get lucky (Hope springs eternal) and get one before my trip. I will probably go ahead and order a narrow 4/02 this week. If I am lucky they will still have a few available. It never hurts to have a spare reel in that class if the Hoo shows up.

Pick up the 30/2 great reel. Have 6 Avets and never a issue with any of them. I am in the process of tunning up my 4/02 per Allens tot. Will see what it actually does . Good luck on getting the new avet before your trip.

Ray,

Did you find the washer that Alan references? If so where?

Thanks,

Mark

Re: Hoo X Availability

And what are you going to catch with it right now?

Be patient and let them get it perfect.

(I'm dying for one too)

My guess would be fish

Im not waiting for one but can certainly understand the frustration.

If they didnt have it perfected yet they should not haved teased people with saying it would be out months ago.

Get it all dialed in and perfected and then make the announcements of it comming out.

Sounds like they have a great product that people dig, but maybe they goofed and spoke a little to soon about this comming out.

Just my humble opinion & feedback.

Re: Hoo X Availability

How much do you want to bet when they do come out, They'll just drizzle a few of them out and a lot of people will still be waiting. Ali, If you get one before me, I'm taking it from you, Bitch
