How much 50lb JB on my SX?

I want to fill my SX up with as much 50lb JB as possible minus a topshot & mono backing. About how much can I fit? Anyone know the diameter of the 50lb (non-hollow)?

You will get over 500 yards of 50# on that reel. Diameter is equal to 10 or 12
depending on brand of mono.

I beleive 50# is the diameter of 16# mono and 40# is the diameter of 12#. At least thats what it said on the powerpro I checked out at the shop last week.

i fit 250 yds of 50lb izor and 65 yds of 20lb p-line on mine

DUH! Somehow read JX, not SX. Oh well. You can get 250 on there. The power pro is coated, thicker, and much stiffer than the non-coated braids. I prefer the non-coated personally. I think you get better casting distance with it

Thanks for the input! Looks like I'll buy a 300yd spool of 50lb solid JB instead of the 600yd spool.
