Avet sx = unreal

I just wanted to say how impressed I am by this little gem. Two years and still going strong. Kings, dolphin, shark, cobia, snapper, amberjack, and one sail have all fallen victim to this little blue monster... 500 yds 40lb powerpro, just tested the drag yesterday at 17 lbs max, the drag has actually increased after some serious runs (the sail burned off at least 300 yds of line as it struck a pogie on a kingfish drag setting 3 lbs) I am just amazed as hell. . This spring a wahoo is on my hitlist, as they are pleaniful around north florida this time of year... Anyone know what the bigges hoo on an sx is???

Re: Avet sx = unreal

been using one for two years now in long island sound on big bass to 40 lbs and large blues. not so much as a hiccup out of this reel. it is amazing how much power they have packed into such a midget reel.
