I don't know about you guys but I don't have problems with this anymore... The 4/0's had their issues and the rest worked themselves out. If you want to fish an 80# class reel on a 130# class rod then the foot might not fit. No reason to get butt hurt over it.
If the reel seat doesn't fit like you want it to then order another one that does fit and think of the money that you saved over a competitor's 30 or 50.
The guys in PV make it work and the LR guys make it work. Any questions?
They are a "good" product but have some quality control issues to work out before they become a "great" reel.
I don't see anything out of line with this statement. Avet has had a few problems but it's a new company making a new product. I'll continue to replace my older reels with Avets.

I must admit that the gang at Avet are tools. I once needed a reel clamp for my SX so I called them up and within a week is was in my mailbox for free. Another stupid thing they did just recently was donate a $200 + reel for the take a marine fishing trip on 2/10/07. Thanks Sarkis and Harry
Yup , they're tools alright.

Hell, we need "Tools." Afterall, I still own an Accurate and a few Daiwa's.
