line for exw50/2

what is the line of choice in the states ,just imported 2 exw50,s from california and they filled them with 80 izorline mono for me is this any good as its not sold in australia just thought id ask your opinions ,cheers from down under, mick

depends on what you are fishing for i used mine this past summer with 80lb suffix the problem was sometimes blue marlin didnt want to stop after 600yds i never got spooled but after the first time it got close i changed to a spectra backing with a top shot of 80lb mono

100 sufix superior or tritanium in my friend's and spectra backing with 130 on mine. If its close to being spooled.... turn around and chase'em. The izorline is a pretty tough line though.

Straight 200lb hollow to a short topper of your choice. It'll take somewhere between a buttload and a buttload and a half of spectra.

im usually fishing for stripe,black or blue marlin or mako shark you seem to have a wider choice of line in the US and its interesting to get different opinions,cheers mick
