That reel is my favorite! I caught a 110# bigeye tuna on it and it performed flawlessly!

Thats cool dude. Glad you like it. The MX series are awesome. I have the MXL and absolutely love it. Damn dude a 110 bigeye on a MXJ. That is gnarly. Those reels really hold up under a a lot of stress.

Yep, it sure did. Didn't you have that on an 8' rod? I know you were using 25# P-line. That line held up better than the rest of ours did, that's for sure.

Hopefully we'll get another chance at them again this year. I won't be using 20# this time...gunz

It's on a Seeker Classic with 20# Maxima Ultra Green.

With the expection of 2 light tackle spinning set-ups, my boat is now 100% Avet. We have several SX's, MXL's; 1 MXJ and 1 LX.
