New 2 ball bearing rubber handles

Just to let everyone know, we are now putting a two bearing rubber handle on the SX, MXJ, MXL, LX, and JX reels. Stores that received reels in the last week will probably have some of the new handles. Check them out.

Re: New 2 ball bearing rubber handles

I don't think that's it. I was at the factory a few weeks ago, and the one I played with was more like a Torium handle. Could be wrong...maybe they changed it again before putting it out.

Found this on the Charkbait site, hopefully these were early prototypes as they do not look all that impressive. Looks some what liek a Newell handle. A Torium-like handle would be nice, something with a little more meat to it.

Those look kind of cheesy, almost like the stock Penn rubber handles. I would rather have the machined Aluminum.

Those aren't them.

They have new Trini style handles that are very nice.
