15 DAY INDEPENDENCE TRIP MAY 6TH

I still have a few openings on my May 6th trip on the Independence. This is a 15 day Hurricane Bank trip. We are only putting 24 passengers on this trip. The trip is a Ozaki/Avet Reels/Smitty Belt Charter. The sponsors are Avet Reels, Smitty Belts, Raider Lures, Hayabusa Hooks, Yozuri Hybrid Line, Graftech Rods. Mako Eyewear, Rusty Hook, Catchy
Tackle, Seaguar Florocarbon,
This Trip will have two chartermasters: Alex Matsumoto from the Rusty Hook and Rick Ozaki of West Coast Marketing. The trip will offer free unlimted fillups of Hybrid line and will give thousands of dollars worth of tackle for everybody.
If you are imterested in this trip, please email me at rickozaki@sbcglobal.net or call me on my cell at 310 713-3383

Money is always a problem but you can't get "experience" by staying on shore.

I looked at going on this trip but it conflicts with commitments I made to deckhand for a friend during the Oregon halibut season. Getting paid to fish butts isn't bad but some of the clients are clueless. Oh well, I can use the cash but work is still a four letter word.

Man, we are one step away from MANDATORY OVERTIME. I've got no chance of getting the time off.

but i dont think a 15 day trip is a beginners trip. dont want to screw up everyones time by newbie mistakes.

but i really like to go because i read that the two avet brothers were really chill.

Don't worry about newbie mistakes. Unless you are a total:ASS: the guys on these trips love to share thier fishing knowledge. Also shorter trips won't prepare you for a 15 day that is of course unless we have another freak fall cowfest in 10 day range next year . If you have the time and $$ the only mistake you can make is not going.

My first LR trip was a 10 day, the second was a 15. Just don't be a dick and keep your eyes and ears open.

Hi Lee, doing a 15 day trip must be nice after your incredible 10 day trip. I am considering doing a 15 day in 2007. How many 50 size reels did you take on the 15 day trip?

2 50s an Avet STS and a Penn 50SW. The 50SW is in the shop getting put into the condition that the Avet is out of the box. Next trip I'll have at least one more Avet 50, probably a high speed 50W.
