If you have some information about problems YOU have seen with an Avet reel feel free to let us know about it. I want to know about any potental problems and what I need to have with me to fix them. Otherwise keep your mouth shut and don't spread secondhand Bull Shit.
I'm not an former law enforcrement officer and I still think you behaving like an ass hole, not from what you post about Avet but from your atitude when someone points out your BS. Please go back to huffing.

It was a new Accurate 50 that lost the drag on my November LR trip but in no way do I consider Accurate reels to be trash and I will not post BS about the manufacture of this fine reel. When fighting cows your gear is put to the limit and things happen.

Yep, it happens. I did not hear what happened with this one. It might be the same reel we are talking about if yours was on the Davis trip. Those things are pricey. I know it would piss off a lot of people but I wonder what would happen to their sales if they were priced closer to the AVET's, Diawa's, and Shimano's?

No, it was on the RRIII's November Charkbait trip.
I don't own Accurate reels but friends do. They seem to be high maintenance but all reels that see real use have to be maintained. Avets remind me of a solid truck, Accurates a sports car. I'm a truck person.

WO WO WO! Hey Josh, wrong guy. gunz I know that 'cause you said, "skinny ass can do." Remember me? I'll take the skinny ass coment as a compliment. I've been working out. I'm the guy coming down already. It's the other dude doing the BS, crap talking. Good mixup though. Funny stuff.
I almost bought the T-Rex but this board got me away from it. Way more than I'll ever need. For that matter, my SDS and 50w are way more than I'll need. I'm glad you have the Avets on your boat, at least then I'll be able to say I cought (hopefully ) a cow or something big on an AVET 50 or 30. The kids have to get torn up in the chair first .

BTW: I am hoping to catch fish, even though the family comes first. As long as they are having a good time, I'll take the rod. I am hoping to do the stand up/rail thing. Like I told you before, it's your program and I have no agenda. I just want the family to have a good (as in "Absolutely fucking fantastic!) time. After that, it's my turn.

Whoollly crap! What was I thinking? What I meant to say was, "I am completely offended and I'm actually crying as I write this! I think the ONLY thing that will help is .. A great deal on a second day in AUGUST! AND A TACO!" Yep, that should just about do it.

Nope, wasn't me, I'm still a pretty diehard AVET fan. If I nail a cow (don't say that while drinking) don't be surprised if I want to buy the reel and take it home.
Notice Ladies and Gentleman NOTHING WAS SAID ABOUT A DISCOUNT! Straight up blew me off. That's OK. I've got a few months to work'em over or get over it.
