Bar Level Winds for Wide Big Reels

When using any 50 wide with a lots of drag, keeping the reel steady while cranking is hard, especially when you have to use your free hand to guide line.

Using spectra, gloves are also necessary to keep from cutting yourself on the line, and these are uncomfortable in hot humid weather.

There is no reason why a bar style line guide like the one on a Penn 350 couldnīt be adapted to a larger reel with all spectra line.

I imagine that Penn still holds the patent, but it is pretty old, so Avet might want to ponder this option to make them even more unique.
