stopped by all 3 days i was at the show. great booth. great t shirts. kept bugging Hairy about the reel covers and got them on Sunday. Thanks you guys ROCK!

The new reel covers looked classy. Picked up a forest green SX, as did my buddy. I dont know if it's the new-ness of it, but the SX I got this year had anti-reverse dogs that felt a lot smoother than those on the SX I got last year. Harry said they didn't change the shape of anything, so I assume its the viscosity of the grease? Unless it's my imagination.

Are the rumors true about an Avet star drag coming soon?

Side note: last night I had a dream that Avet made a topless level wind 6:1 JX/LX model, in anodized burnt orange color...and someone dropped mine over the rail on a rock cod trip. I immediately woke up and told my girlfriend. She wasnt very comforting and went back to sleep.
