calling all Avet hoe's

Alrighty then, I have finally sold enough tackle to be able to get my new Avet 2 speed for my 40# jig stick. OH yea I've got wood just thinking about it.

I do however have a serious question........ JX or LX.

Now, I do have both (in the single speed version). I use the JX with 30# for bait and the LX with 40# on the yoyo. I love them both. Will the narrow be that much better for casting that it would be worth the line loss? Or do I even need the extra line if I use spectra? I am leaning towords the JX......

Has anybody done the comparison yet?

I had an LX single as a jig reel and traded it in for the JX single, I like the narrow spool for casting. I yoyo'd a 43# Yellowtail with the jx and it kicked the shit out of that fish. I just got the LX 2 speed, but that's mainly a bait stick for larger fish. The LX's drag washers are bigger than the JX's. So I plan to fish 40-60# on the LX

Thanks aguachico. I think the JX will do the job nicely............. The red one at Charkbait.

I have the JX 6/3... it's a kickass bullet proof reel. I have it filled w/ spectra and topshot of 40#...

For a jig reel it has more then enough line, and feels much nicer then my singlespeed LX.

Your gonna dig it!
