| What Avet to add to my arsenal next?
Stocking up on my arsenal of Avet reels, planning on doing long range trips and spending time in Puerto Vallarta fishing with family. My question is what Avet reel would you add next to my line up? I currently own.
3- SX's, 2 on American series seekers 7' 870's one on shimano crucial 7'9" heavy action rated for 30-65braid
2- MXj's both on Diawa saltwater vip 7' 870's rated 15-40lbs
1- JX 2 speed on a 6'6" cedros jig stick. rated 65-100lb braid.
If you can only add 1 more reel, what would it be? I'm leaning towards the HX, not sure if the regular, narrow, or wide width would be best. What rod would you put the HX on? I also already own a Ugly stick custom rod, model USCSU 1166MH rated to 30-50lbs, would that be a good match for an HX?
Let's hear it, what do you think?

The HX is really a 50+# reel. Unless you want to buy another rod, I would get another JX. If you get a HX, go with the narrow.

HX for sure, you might even want to wait a for the raptor series to come out. Calstar 700H or similar seeker.

You might just want to wait for the HX Raptor. It will be amore versitile reel than just a regular HX. The SS 6470H is a damn good combo with the HX. I have one on a SS Ulua for surface iron and the other on a 750H for bait and iron. Both work well for their specific duties.

For you guys that use the HX for Iron/bait, what model are you going with? Regular width, narrow width or wide width?

I have both the HX regular width and the HXJ narrow width. I use the HX for Iron and bait. The HXJ pretty much just for the iron.

If you want to add to your heavy gear, get a 30n for 80-100lb. The HX Raptor would be more versatile like you've already been told...
