If I missed somting, tell please!!!!

The new Sx raptor is bad ass. Haven't seen it in hand yet but no matter. The major question for me because I love these reels. Is there handle pressure as you go to 15 lbs of strike or is it like, smooth as butter? I am die-eeng to know. I have been so busy I have missed the release and early buzz of Q & A.

Barely noticeable throughout the drag range. The Raptor was specifically designed to reduce the bearing side load which creates the handle pressure. Works beautifully.
BTW..nice butt caps!

Mine is smooth and easy to crank till I go to 24# at strike, it's never an issue.

Mine are very similar to yours Rex. 23-25lbs at strike before you feel a hint of side load.

That is what I was lookin to hear. My older brother had a mess of time on our trip in July. 4.5 days was plenty for him to finally realize 2 things. He is sick of trying to use levelwind for 25-30 lb. He is sick of all his newells also. He uses my setups, Avets with calstar and rainshadow rods, and he just wants all new shit like mine. I know what his problems are, when its time to get gear for our trip all the brothers go on, he has that afternoon to try and get all his terminal and special things he wants together. I tell him smoothies or greased carbon fiber drags and they will be better Ill put them in. He does not pay attention when he is broke off and winds in the line. Loose line, fresh bait, hookup and the line will dig in and bind an go pop. Happens to a few novices. So all his newells are for sale if any one here wants them I will get a list. He has the smallest one to the mid 40 lb one. His rods are old, and kind of worked. I said I can make new ones for him but there alot of good rods out there these days. He is color blind and wants a color combo that will fi his eye. I figure the Rapture for his go to and a JX 2 speed. He will be happy.
Thanks for the compliment Finadict. I had every rod with me and my brothers with the Gonzocaps beating the crap out of them on the deck or the BG90. No real wear on them. So I gave them all away to people on the boat. But your rods are incredibly nice.
