Thanks for the tips guys. I couldn't believe there was that much line, but why not. I was thinking I needed to get an SDS, but maybe not. I think since I already have the 100 on 30w, that I''ll keep it there since I probably won't be going over 35# of drag anyway, until the very end of the fight, right? And having the 130 for the end of the fight should help too. Last year I just had the straight 100# and no problems (I had 200 spliced in, but it got all tangled up and we had to cut it out).
As for the breaking stength, 111# sounds good to me. Although on 360tuna.com, there is a guy over there that does extensive testing (pametfisher) that says the JB 100# breaks at over 120#. I'm not going to worry about it. 111# seems good enough, especially since there are no knots except for the hook. Thanks!
