man, I can't believe i didn't get anything decent to enter. I had nice snook thursday night but it was to dark for a pic and i lost a nice blacktip today right as I was about to ask for net to get him on the pier.

Just a couple of the quality tuna caught on my 7 day charter on the Intrepid earlier this month. Oct 2 thru 9. The trip was awesome, getting limits of dodos on the way to Alijos, putting over a hundred quality tuna on the boat in the two days we were at Alijos, (for 19 anglers)and picking up limits of Yellowtail on the way home when we stopped at Cedros. For the tuna, I fished mostly with one of my HXs (80# spectra, 40# or 50# Izorline topshot, and usually an Owner 2/0 ringed flyliner)or my JX's (65# spectra, 40# Izorline mono topshot and Owner 2/0 ringed flyliner).All my Avets were fished on GUSA rods I built. I think I even caught one on my mxl with 30# tool Ended up with 7 nice grade tuna, and limits of dodo's and Yellowtail. A very memorable trip indeed!

WENT ON THE FIRST STRING 6 DAY GUADALUPE TRIP 10/17 TO 10/23/09
CAUGHT 9 YELLOWFIN WITH THE SAME REEL (AVET LX 6/3 2SPEED) ON 50LB TEST WITH IZORLINE SPECTRA WITH A CALSTAR 700H , ALL FISH OVER 50 LB .THE BIGGEST WAS THE JACKPOT ( 135lb YELLOWFIN ) . EVEN THE CO-CAPTAIN SAID " SAME REEL AGAIN , I HAVE TO GET ONE" . FOR ME MY COMFORT ZONE ARE THE AVET LINE...ALSO CAUGHT 2 MORE WITH MY HX.... I ALSO HAVE THE ACTION ON VIDEO .....
