Anti reverse?

I have yet to actually see an Avet. Do they have instant anti reverse?

No you have to put the reel into gear.

No they do not, and personally, I am glad they don't. Instant anti-reverses are unreliable and fail under heavy drag. Accurate uses two AR bearings in their boss reels to prevent failure. Avet uses a dog system a\that is extremely reliable and allows for very little handle back play.

Yes, Avets do have a silent anti-reverse....all with the exception of the bigger reels EX and up, which have a double dog setup. The SX through HX now use a unique springless pawl system that has been changed refined and improved over the last few years. The system is exceptionally reliable. Avets DO NOT use one way clutch bearings...they are too unreliable.

Avet first introduced the silent anti-reverse system when they started 2-speeding the smaller reels a few years ago..and as they tested and improved the system, they incorperated it into all the casting reel models. No more clicking retrieve!
