Is Avet going to make the Raptor model reel in the larger sizes, say the JX or LX size? I am planning to buy a smaller 2-speed reel for 40-50lb line and would like to consider an Avet, but I really don't like the binding in the handle that the JX2 and LX2 experience. I used a borrowered JX2 for fishing 40lb line once, and while I liked the reel at 12-13lbs of drag at a strike setting there was a binding in the handle.
The present word is that the raptor models will go from the SX through the HX so you should be able to get the size and drag capability you want. They are starting production with the SX raptors and should be up to the HX size some time around the beginning of next year.
