How Do I? Avet MC feature

I am having problems with my MC feature. I am unable to increase my spool speed. It seems the magnet is sticking.

The higher you set the dial, the more cast control it has. I usually set mine on 2 or 3 and leave'um.

In other words if the pre-set dial is set to 1 you have the least amount of resistance and when set at 5 the most. You have a bunch of different variables that will determine how much you apply.

You can cast a sardine, and set at 1-2, then a 6 oz. jig, and set at 3-4. You'll get what works best for you're style quickly.
