Need Help Please Longer clamp screws for lx

Hey i just finish building a calstar bt100j for my avet lx but ive run into a little problem since i did not used a reel seat i went with a deckhand style the clamp screws arent long enough to secure the reel to the rod does any one now were i can get longer screws from thanks chuy

i had to get some screws for my JX to use with a cork puppy. Found them at home depot. Just take one of the screws there and match up the thread. Get the stainless steel screws.

I had the same trouble with my LX. I contacted Avet and they sent me longer screws when they returned one of my other reels that they had for service.
Or like already mentioned try a good hardware store, or a West Marine.

thats why Im having reel seats put on my jig sticks.....

I am using cork puppies currently.

i called avet and they will send me a pair of longer screws

so i called avet and talk to the receptionist and she said she would get me so longer screws but she send the exact same size does any one have the email address of hary or someone else in avet that can help me out on getting some longer lx and jx screws

i think they're just 1/4 X 20 socket head SS worked for me

Call Avet, ask to speak to Elisa, Harry's wife, she'll send you the right screws. She handles getting the parts orders, and sending them out.
