@nmbrinkman - no, changing an MX to MC is no pain - get a MC housing and switch it. Takes 2 minutes and some $$.

On the SX Raptor (and most likely all other Raptors to come), things are different. While the name is still the same, the parts which differentiate a Raptor from the "plain" modell are completely different. It IS an new reel, where some existing parts and technologies are used - but it is a different reel.

Haaha no kidding. I loved the firstr post. Will they be raptorizing reels for free? FUCK NO. Its their new model!

I dont think there is need for Raptors unless you will be fishing for bigger model fish... The sx is meant to handle 65 spec with a short top shot...its like those Narrow ass Acurates that can handle super pulling fish...
