Very nice. I am sure we are going to see a lot of impressive catches with these new Raptor series reels.

Any plans to Raptor-ize the 30 and 50 size reels?

Getting ready to pull the trigger on the narrow 30 and 50 models but will wait if modifications/new models are on the horizon.

Thanks!

I believe the largest Raptor's will be the HX line. If you want crazy amounts of drag on a 30 or 50 size Avet take a look at the T-Rex series. Here is a link to the site. Welcome to Avet Reels

Thanks Nat!

What I hoping for really, was a ratcheting-style lever drag. A little more positive in terms of detent position but that's just personal preference.

Will, I also like the ratcheting-style maybe they will add that to their bigger reels in the future.

That'd be nice...even a retro-fit kit would be cool...that'll cut down the wait time for R&D on a new reel...

Report from Indy says they're still catching Wahoo as of 9-30, looks like Raptor may get a good break-in, on 10-4.

Is the Sx Raptor larger than the standard Sx? Being that it's got a larger spool?
