Best Avet for 30# Bait Setup?

Im trying to decide on a new reel for my 30 pound setup. Im thinking mxj from reading the forums, I cant decide on two-speed or not. For local school size albies and yellows I think a single will be fine. But a two-speed would give me some flexibility on a longer trip. You guys decide. Any ideas would be great the sooner the better. The weather is coming and so is a full moon.
Thanks guys

I use a JX for 30#... I don't need a 2 speed for 30...

JX is overkill for 30# unless you plan on fishing it with straight mono. I fish mine for 40/50# with a 65# spectra backing.

If you are gonna put spectra on it I'd get an MXL.

try the new daiwa saltist lever drag. the 30 is the size of an mxj, but has up to 22# of drag. you wanted a reel that reel should give you some flex on longer trips. the guy from charkbait told me that you can fish up to 40# line on it. i would not doubt it with 22# of drag. they are about the same price as avets also.
