Removal Of Screws In New Style Handle

I have an MXL 6/4 with the new style handle. Has anyone had problems removing the tiny sheet metal screws holding the Knob Cap Screws (fig 81) that attach the Knob Cap (fig 80)? They take a # 0 phillips screwdriver maybe 00 size; one of mine is stripped out. I may be able to get it with a left hand drill bit but I thought I'd see if anyone had a trick.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Really no trick that I can think of. I would of tried a left handed bit as well. When you do get it off, this may help.
