Topless 50 Avet

Stopped buy Squidco yesterday. I have one more reel to buy for my collection to be complete. I was pawing the Avet TWIN DRAG TOPLESS 50 narrow. I will fish 80-100# on this reel after I build a rod for it. The spool floats on 6 bearings when in free spool. It's a sick reel. Squidco offers $40 coupon and the reel costs $499. That's $459 for all the pulling power I'll ever need. Is there anyone out there with this reel?

I considered it before i got my tiagra 30wide. i have an avet lx, i use it as my 40lb live bait reel and i like it alot, the only downside i see on my avet is the lever drag goes from the setting just off freespool in about an inch, i have to really make sure my drag is set right because it dosent offer much adjustment compared to a tld lever drag for example. i think you will like the reel. go for it

Last night I loaded one with 475yds of JB 130# under 125yds of 80#mono. Taking it on a 5 day leaving this Sunday on the RP. I'll let you know if I find anything to crank on. JJ
