Is new lefty SX only comes in 5:1 ratio?

I just bought a brand new SX, which suppose to be 5.3:1 but the box says 5:1 and the reel also says 5:1 on the side. YES, It is newer model since it's got a curved handle and silent retrieve. But why is mine says 5:1 on the side plate? becuase it's lefty?

Can anyone with new lefty SX verify this for me?

Sounds like you have one from the first batch - There where suppossedly a few engraved with the old gear ratio, because someone forgot to reconfigure the laser ...

Put an ink dot on the spool and count the rotations as you turn the handle once. It is very likely a 5.3.

Yeah it is 5.3:1 although it says 5.0:1
